As a former Advanced Placement English Language and Composition teacher, I have been working with the OPS Gifted and Talented Education department for several summers on our AP Summer Camp, which we have called the "AP Summer Symposium" and now the "Advanced Academics Summer Symposium." 

 

I am the Project Coordinator for the years 2023 and 2024.

The purpose of the AP/AA Summer Symposium is to create a culture of success in our secondary honors level courses by building supportive networks, increasing student confidence, and providing support for academic achievement to any OPS Advanced Placement student.
